ALINE GILMORE blanket-quilts and throws are beautiful, versatile, and incredibly cozy. They are also locally made with a commitment to sustainable practices.

Our products start with virgin-wool blankets milled and woven at a century-old Canadian mill. These are upcycled into new geometries, punctuated with bold and colourful dots, through a meticulous design and crafting process that includes handfelting and handstitching to ensure originality and durability. Each blanket-quilt or throw is a one-of-a-kind reworking of tradition.

The Red Dot line is inspired by the subtle warm palettes of vintage photos and the faded cabins of the designer’s childhood summers, as well as the simple block colours and geometrics of international modern painters. The line is neutral and simple yet fresh, suited to a range of decors and lifestyles, and easily transferable from city to country living.

Aline Gilmore is a Canadian designer who travels between Toronto and Montreal.
